Jago lives!!!!

Hello people After months of radio silence, and inability to be a regular/serial blogger I’ve decided to turn over a new leaf the corner has been turned and although I will no doubt bump into myself when I turn the next corner things have changed.  I will be checking in to bring you all that is happening in the crazy and a little bit disturbed world of Mr Jago.

I am involved in some great shows & projects over the next 12 months with shows in Los Angeles, London, Milan & San Francisco which is super cool & super studio time, but all’s good.  I will also be painting at a small number of live events starting with the Eurocultured Festival in Manchester on the weekend of the 23rd of May.  So you will not be detecting any moss growth on my Rolling Stone!  The dates for your diary

14th August - September 4th

Hooking up with the wonderful Modart family again which is always a treat and also Thinkspace Gallery (with whom I have a solo show booked for 2010) this is shaping up to be one hell of a show involving some crazily talented names which include Microbo, Tim Biskup, SheOne, Anthony Lister, Will Barass, Galo, Bo130, Faith47 and many more are, so I was especially touched to be asked to take residence of the galleries ‘Project Room’ so I will be displaying a selection of new paintings created specifically for this show.

I will blog the others nearer the time so just a quick run through. I will also have a piece in the Stolenspace summer show which begins on the 2nd July 2009.

Next up a solo show with possibly my favourite Gallery/Gallery owner in the world, beginning on the 24th of September at The Don Gallery in Milan.

This is followed by another group show at the 1988 Gallery in San Francisco with my work featuring alongside the work of Gaia, Angry Woebots, Deseo, Scribe & Dia.  Opens Friday the 16th of October 2009.

More soon (promise)
